Am I just crazy....because I really really really like the name "Tallulah" for a girl. I have a four year old daughter, her name is Michaela....nice and normal I guess lol. Now I'm not pregnant and I'm not really expecting to be but if in the future I do have another daughter I would really like to consider that name. My husband is 100% against it. Does anyone else think it's a cute name?

Are you some weird celebrity? Only really really rich people can name their kids weird names. Because their kids will be able to get jobs.
20/20 proved that people with weird sounding names DO NOT GET HIRED.

Employers see a weird name and assume that the other employes will not be able to relate to that person. They assume they are a foreinger or someone a little too ethnic for their taste. They are worried about embarrassing themselves by not pronouncing the name correctly.

And besides you arent original. Demi moore named her daughter tallu loo bell or something like that. Someone said it to her as an insult. Like "what are you gonna name your next kid? Tallu loo bell!" And she didnt get the fact that they were being sarcastic, or didnt care and that became her youngest child's name.
She can get away with it. You cant unless you are a millionaire.

I don't like it. I makes me think of a cow's name. Maybe as a middle name? Tallulah Belle (Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter) made it on the VH1 Awsomely Wacky Celebrity Baby Names list with that name.....

I think of the bobsled in Cool Running when I hear that name, also one of Bruce Willis' daughters name. There was a famous actress name Tallulah Bankhead from the 1910's through 1930"s. (I'm not that old but I love old movies.)

It's an unusual name but not unheard of.
I have only met one other child named Tallulah in my 54 yrs.

There are thousands of names out there and I am confident you and your husband will find a name you will both agree on when the time comes.

I think it's a cute middle name.....or if you use it like Bruce Willis and Demi Moore used it when they named their daughter Tallulah Belle That's pretty.

I don't really like it but more importantly neither does your husband. You really need to agree.

Just for thought.....my husband and I could not agree. So we took a piece of paper and a baby book and wrote down every name we liked on our own piece of paper. The ONLY name on both sheets was Kaelyn. My maiden name is Page. Our daughter is Kaelyn Page W_____

I think its really sweet. Not very common, but nice. I knew a girl name Tallulah, and she had a sister Ruby. She got "Tally", "Lulah" and "Lulu" for short. Its sweet!

Depending on the pronunciation it might be a cute name. But probably a better middle name.
