My 8 yr old son loves Martina McBride and she will be doing a concert somewhat near my house, He would LOVE to go. However, my husband is out of town and I will need to also take my well-behaved, music loving 2 1/2 year old. Would this be crazy? I haven't been to a concert in over 20 years and those were 80's rock concerts. Martina would be somewhat mellow? No?
Thanks,
Charlene

I would take them. and maybe bring a friend. but if both are well behaved it shouldnt be a problem. Martina is an amzing performer, but she is mellow and all of her songs are appropriate. Also, she is probably going to play in a nice area, not some sketchy type bar or something. So, I would totally bring them and bring some toys along for the two year old. HAVE FUN!

You know I was 19 years old when I went to my first concert and I always blamed my parents for that. I've always figured that if I ever have kids I wll take them anywhere I go if I choose to take them, I dont want them to blame me for not taking them places or missing out on anything. And since it is Martine McBride, she is probably pretty mellow for concerts and a good choice for your 2 year old. Have fun!

No. its not crazy at all. As long as the 2 year old won't be overwhelmed by the crowds or the noise. Certainly a good choice of shows for children to attend. Just bring ear plugs and a toy or two just in case.

Go for it. I went to Martina's concert. The concert was worth every penny. They would have a great time. Hope this helps. If you do go I hope you have a great time.

Of course. I'd take a friend though. I don't know how you're children act in public but you might could use the extra hand.

Get a sitter for the 2 y.o. The music will be loud and possibly frightening for him/her.

alot would depend on the venue she's playing I wouldn't take them to a smoke filled bar but i would take them to a country fair. she's great for kids.
