In this era of free agency and salary caps (good highly paid players with years of playing time left just have to be let go, go free agent, or traded), count on every NBA team losing 3 or 4 players each year.

As much of the players moving around every year in the NBA has to do with the salary cap trying to keep at or below the cap juggling players around and trying to find a square peg for a square hole and a round peg for a round hole.

The salary cap and union negotiations keep new players in the NBA from being paid as much as they should just as experienced players are sometimes stuck with $1 million contracts after maybe making $10 million or more a year on another team as the experienced player has to options: 1) retire, or, 2) try to play a number of more years in the NBA at a million or two a year (that would be nice making only a million or two a year).
