Forget it. Unless it is at a nicer resteraunt or a hotel bar. Working at a bar, particularly in a whole-in-the-wall kind of joint, brings up a whole other set of problems aside from drunk guys hitting on you. Stalkers, fights, and becoming a drunk you'reself are among those problems.

you can make good $ at a bar, but you must decide what kind of environment you want to be around, safer are hotel bars like the Marriott or Sheraton etc, you will still get hit on by men of course but in a more conformable less evasive environment. or you could find a local bar but be prepared for the local drunks that hang there. you could also work a bar at a restaurant like Red lobster or something while $ will be less and tips will be your big income it will be very safe environment. Good luck and enjoy it what a great way to meet people and friends while earning money!

Some of the pros or bartending are that you can get some action from drunk guys at the bar that will think you're hot. Some of the cons are that you will probably get a bunch of STDs.

pros-lots of money+ tips. You learn good drinks. You might meet someone nice

cons- you get hit on by weird guys (but they'll give you a lot of money if you flirt back)

I vote yes.

If they allow smoking at bars where you live, then the biggest danger is the damage to your health caused by secondhand smoke.
