I would David Ortiz, of all time I might have to do with Edgar Martinez. Nowadays DHs usually are guys past thier prime, at least defensively, to able to sit and go up and have four meaningfull ab's is impressive, I do not like Boston but have to give david ortiz credit, i can not really think of another DH i would rather have up.

David Ortiz and Pronk are having off years , so I would have to go with Gary Sheffield at the moment.

However, on any other year, it would have to be Ortiz by a landslide.
