what pump do you use to drain outdoor hot tub in deck ?

I have 400 gallon hot tub that needs to be drained and I would like a pump that can empty it within 15-20 minutes (i.e. ~1600 gpm). i plan to drain the hot tub every 3 months. FYI, i have seen some that have top handles to easily place the pump into the hot tub and it seems like a nice feature.

please provide specific make and model of the submersible pump you use to drain your outdoor hot tub. if you have a web link to a site which sells them, please list that also.

would like to spend less than $100 on a pump if possible.

You can buy a cheap garden hose a Walmart for less than $10. Siphon!!! It`s a little slower, but it`s a lot cheaper and nothing mechanical to breakdown.

Check out the Little Giant brand of pumps. They have the handle on top and pump from the bottom so most the water will be gone. Sorry I don't have the model number of mine but it works really well and they are not expensive.
