And like I said all I have is my internet connection and I can't buy anything. Any help will be greatly appeciated. Thanks.

Unless one computer has more than one Ethernet port on it, connecting them both to the internet is near impossible without other hardware. You need a router or network hub to connect them both to the same modem.

If you can connect your modem to "Computer 1" via USB then connect "Computer 2" to "Computer 1" via a ethernet crossover cable using the Ethernet ports.
On "Computer 1" when setting up the connection choice "Connect Directly to the internet".
When setting up "Computer 2" Choose "Connect to the Internet through a router or other computer".
Another possiblity is if have a hub or switch. Most DSL modem have built in DHCP and you can run several computers from one modem with a simple hub or switch by simply plugging in.
A Crossover cable will cost about $10 if you do not have the ability to make one. If you are in school check with your teacher. They may make you one.

WARNING!!!!
Do not attempt to use a regular USB cable to connect two cmputers. You WILL damage both computers. To connect two computers via USB you will need a USB data cable.

If you not buying anything, this will not work. The least you need to do is have 3 network cards. two in the first and one in the second to make it work. This is complicated and unreliable. Get a router...save yourself the headache. A router cost less than 50 bucks and save you alot more time.

Sorry but unless you have 2 modem boxes, for each computer you are screwed. Otherwise you will need to have a router and an adapter.
