Because life is a mystery. People who have faith in a higher power/God/afterlife believe that these questions will be answered when we die.

We just had a child here in NY die from being accidentally shot in the head when she walked into the path of target shooters. Terrible tragedy, but her family donated her organs and just saved the lives of several children.

My father lost two brothers in a terrible alcohol-related accident (they were not at fault, someone else was) and my mother lost a sister at five, so I know a lot about tragedies and mysteries. I have always felt that losing my uncles, whom I remembered, kept my sister, brother and I from turning to or ever even using drugs or alcohol other than a few times in our lives. The loss of my mothers sister inspired me to learn about the history of my family and because of that I turned it not only into a hobby and a money-maker, but a deep passion and one that has answered many questions my family always had but never knew the answers to.

I believe that every person who comes into our life does so for a reason, even if it isn't apparent on earth.

It seems that God always takes the good ones. I know what you are saying as i have said the same thing many times myself. I figure God has a better purpose for them. Some say that we are here on earth until we learn all of our lessons and then we get to leave. The ones that stay are the one who haven't learned their lessons and will stay until they do. Either way it sucks.

That is a hard question with no definite answer. Everything happens for a reason and sometimes that reason is so beyond us. Everyone will get their rightful end sometime, it's just a matter of when.

The ones we can't stand...only seem like they are here for ever.

But anytime we lose a loved one.... it seems like it's far too soon. because we don't want to lose them.
