I reinstalled windows and have no icons like,....my documents, my computer, and alll those important folders. any advice in getting them back?

Right click desktop.
click Properties.
click themes..
click windows classic...

If you have the recycle bin on the desktop after a clean install of windows, thats a good sign. So what you do, is click your Start Button, right click on MyComputer and checkmark where it says "Show on Desktop". Do so for each one you want listed on the desktop.

You will need to set your icons yourself from the programs which I assume you have installed. You can also open Explorer and right click to send a program or file to desk top.

Try holding down the Windows key then push thr D key.
