Just want to know how much longer I have to get out there with a telescope to see Jupiter.

I spouse you mean for nighttime observations. Everyday Jupiter rises about 4 minutes earlier, so it will be visible pretty much throughout the rest of the year and in January it will have set by the time the sun sets.

I live in the South, and I saw Jupiter and 3 of its moons with a high powered telescope Saturday Night. It was awesome!!!! I also saw Saturn and its rings. I know this is corny, but I was totally amazed. Good luck with your endeavor.
