Morals and ethics? What is the source of your guilt?

Of the various places where we learn right/wrong, what is the source for any guilt that is experienced?

The family of origin?
Social environment? (friends, acquaintances)
Social institutions? (schools, pop culture, social groups)
Religious affiliation?
Political affiliation?

All guilt originates from you holding on to a past experience that you wished had gone differently. No point in crying over spilled milk, move on and make now the best it can be.

Thats like asking someone why they should feel guilty if they murder someone. All of the above except political are correct because we have learned through history that we need to appreciate someone elses life as well as our own. If you have guilt it is because you did something wrong. I don't like this question, treat others the way you want to be treated that is how I feel about the matter. : (

Ethics, conscience, guilt, education, spirituality, listening to the still voice within. I don't believe in morals. I think morals are something created by society to control people into sheep-like behavior. I think that ethics come from the truth and dignity in your heart.

I've come to learn that nothing is really right or wrong. When I do something it either makes me feel good or bad. My own judgment on myself
