I don't feel qualified to answer your question but it is really important.
It would probably be better not to rush this, unless you feel that your life is in immediate danger. Your parents will go away again some other time.
Before deciding, can you maybe call a child abuse hotline like 1 (800) 4 A CHILD? The website associated with Childhelp is http://www.childhelp.org/
These people will have a lot better idea about what to do than any of us. Call someone now, before you make your decision.
My best wishes are with you.

Don't ruin your life. I ran away from home when I was 16. I ended up pregnant and married at 17. I had to get my GED . I was a straight A student in high school, but never went to college. I could have been anything I wanted. I am not by any means unhappy though. I am a military wife. I'm 23 now and have been married for almost 6 years. I am the mother of 4. I am happy , but I missed out on sooo many opportunities that could have made my life better. Most of all I really hurt the one person that cared about me most in this world... my mother. Think things through before you make a decision. Don't just jump out on a limb because you think it will make you happy for a few minutes.Take it from someone who lived in a car for a while ..... Being on your own isn't easy.

What are you going to run to? Unless you have somewhere to go I would stay put. People tend to take things for granted such as a hot meal or a roof over your head. Without a diploma and a job its hard to get anywhere. Why do you speak with a family member if you are that unhappy or a friend parent to see if they would consider taking you in? trust me you will have plenty of time to see the world and do things when you are older.I always thought that if I stayed home one night when i was a teenager I might miss something. Now I am greatful for a quiet night at home alone

GO AHEAD AND RUN TO THE NEAREST PHONE AND DIAL 911...
YOU DIDN'T MENTION HOW OLD YOU ARE, BUT IF THERE IS ABUSE, AND YOU DON'T FEEL SAFE, THE AUTHORITIES WON'T TAKE YOU HOME..YOU SAID CPS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT MAKE IT WORSE LAST TIME...TELL THE POLICE THIS, AND THE PERSON THAT WILL COME INTERVIEW YOU...
You are not of legal age, you have 3 choices..
stay with abusive parents until you are 18-
go to a foster home until you are 18-
runaway and run the chance of being killed, abused sexually, raped, infected with STDs and/or hooked on drugs...
THOSE ARE YOUR CHOICES...unless you know of a Church family or teacher from you school that can take you in...If you know someone that will keep you in their home while the authorities investigate, then when the time comes and you go to court, they can request to keep you with your parent's consent...
God Bless YOU!....I know you are in a tough spot..
You can read one of my posts about "what was the worst thing that's ever happened to you" and see that I too had a tough life.....so I know what you are feeling...don't do anything stupid, like leaving and running to who knows where...All you will find when you get there are people who want to use you until you are all used up...Ask Jesus to come into your life and help you...If you believe in him, he will be able to do miracles in your life....anything is possible with him, and you won't know until you try!.....

If you tell me what state you live in I will get you a phone number of someone that can help you. Every state has child abuse hotlines, and now that you are older and laws are stricter they will take you serious. As bad as it is at home, it will be worse on the streets. It will be strangers abusing you not family. Email me and I will get you help if you don't want to post it here.

You need to call the police, tell a teacher (who legally has to call social services), something else.
What do you think running away will do? Do you really know what happens to most teen runaways?
They become homeless drug addicts. Many of the girls turn to prostitution for a few bucks.
Just don't do it, you have other options.

I don't know how you'd find them, but there ARE shelters for teenage runaways, at least in some cities. Probably not the nicest places, but if you're desprate, they'll do.
