Provide a better service. Obviously people have been dis-satisfied with either shipping, communication, sending the wrong product, mislabeled products ect. Read the neg reviews and see what the complaints have been, people usually give a reason. Then focus on those problems and work to correct them, and don't just blame the person who leaves the negative feedback as a nutjob, an ebay newbie, or anything like that.

People leave negative feedback for a good reason, and that reason is a problem with your company, so work to fix it so people won't complain in the future.

Well, it simply comes down to making sure that the customers get exactly what they want, that it's not damaged or unusable, and that you have policies that are clearly stated and within reason if there is a problem you must confront. I must however admit that negative feedback is often a retaliation over something that is beyond the control of a seller, but depending on the circumstances I would say that such feedback can be appealed to. But of anything, the main thing is to get it right however possible.

Gee. Deliver the product on time, in good condition. That's what most eBayers expect when they buy things.

I don't think you can deduct negative feedbacks....after all, they were earned whether you like them or not. You must outLIVE them with good products and good service.
