Police think Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7 year old son, then hung himself.
Benoit missed Saturday's WWE wrestling house show, and Sundays Pay-Per-View to go home, because his wife said her and her son were spitting up blood.
So isn't it possible that Benoit returned home, found his family dead then hung himself?

Sadly it is now confirmed that Chris Benoit is responsible.
Early Sunday morning, between 3:51 and 3:58 a.m., Benoit sent five text messages to co-workers:
Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”
Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone
“The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open”
Text Message 3 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:54am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane.
Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”
Text Message 4 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:55am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane.
Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

I don't know what to think. It's hard to believe that anyone could kill their family but in reality it happens everyday. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding this whole thing. It could have been a very well staged act or he could of really done it. The time line is kind of screwy to if you look at it. Look at entry 1, 3, 4, and then at 5...see a difference in them? The word physical is left out of the last one. Could it be that the last one was sent by someone different then the first 4? Also one of the statements I read said that it took a while for the police to gain entry to the Benoit home because the dogs were loose on the grounds but yet in text message 2 it says they are in the enclosed pool area...was it a lie? did he/someone let them loose after the message was sent? did they get loose on their own? Too many questions and not enough answers yet...only speculation. Guess we will all have to wait until all the tests and things come in to find out for sure.

According to the time line of the deaths it occurred over a couple days. If he came home to find his family like that where was he most of the weekend? The whole thing is strange and we should not speculate on what happened. I know that some may find it hard to believe that Chris could do something like this but in all honesty it appears that this is just what the authorities are claiming it to be. There are too many unanswered questions at this point.

Sounds like that killer was begging for anyone to show up. When no one did he probably did the first thing that came to mind. I'll bet that whatever kind of drugs he was taking was the main reason, maybe money trouble but I doubt it.

One of my buddies think he did it because his contract was set to expire and he couldn't handle going 'to the minor leagues' like TNA.
