Go with the Macbook. I have one along with my iMac and I love it. It's fast and very reliable and the wireless N card is awesome. Don't listen to the Windows people they don't know what they are talking about they want everyone else to be a miserable as they are.

MacBooks are very reliable, and they last as long as any other computer, so a long time (5-6 years) but it will be outdated in about 2-3 (which is true about every comptuer).

I do not understand why people say very few games are available for Macs... Let us have a talk brother. You need to talk with me, for I know what I am talking about.
What you need is a Mac. It is NOT expensive... You won't find a regular laptop with windows that has 2.4GHz CPU. 2GB of RAM and a powerful GPU by NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 256MB SDRAM for $2,499. No, you will not find that.
Mac lacks nothing. If there are games that Mac OSX doesn't support, your Mac will still play them. How? All you need to do is install windows on your Mac. Your Mac is compatibile with every thing. Not only your Mac is compatible with everything, it does everything you need. Most of all, it allows you to have best of both world, Windows and Mac.
Honestly, why do people buy windows laptop where they can install windows on a durable Mac machine? Mac parts are durable and life worthy. A mac will lasts 5 more years than a regular cheap based windows system. Get a Mac and never look back.

I wouldn't take a chance with a Macbook. You should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092 instead. I got mine from Best Buy, and I love it!
