You've got 17 answers already but here's my 2 cents worth.
Planets farther from the sun receive less sunlight per square meter than planets closer to the sun.
Sunlight thins out according to a well defined and well understood law called the 'inverse square law'.
The link has a table showing planets distances from the sun.
Earth 93 million miles from sun.
Mars 142 million miles from sun.
All you do is take the radius the the Mars' orbit squared and divide that by the radius of Earth's orbit squared to get the ratio.
(93/2)^2/(142/2)^2 = 2 1/3
In other words the Earth receives 2 1/3 times more heat from the sun than Mars.
So if Mars and Earth were swapped the Earth would definitely be colder, really cold!

Yes, it would be colder because it is further away from the sun. Not only, it would be cold,but also the seasons would be different than the ones we have today. If the Earth was suddenly switched with Mars people would not be immune to such coldness, and most human life as you know it would no longer exist.

Of course. Mars is farther from the Sun, so naturally it is colder. If Earth were that far from the Sun, it would be frozen in an ice age.

Yes;
Most of the heat on our planet comes from the sun. The intensity of the suns rays decrease to the third power for every squaring of distance of radii of orbit.
