here is a site that will help you fit your application.

I tell you what I had a montecarlo LS with a 305 engine, powerglide trans and rochester 500 cfm it did fine, I had a montecarlo SS with a 383 engine, 400 trans, currie rearend and a speed demon 750cfm it was brutal on the GPM but awsome for getting that max speed(165mph). I tell you from experiance speed demon is a solid better than eidalbrock and holly junk so Speed demon 600 - 750 cfm would be a good bet for a 350 trying to get some performance, thats if you have a high flow exuast and a good intake, some ram induction would help alot also

Something around 600-650 cfm is plenty good for street/strip power and economy unless the engine is highly modified---then go with around 750 but economy will probably suffer. Holley, Edelbrock or Carter are all good carbs and just depends on how much you need to tweak the carb to best suit your engine as far as getting various jets, power valves, vacuum secondary springs, etc. I personally prefer a spreadbore carb for light throttle response and yet it retains the massive secondary bores for WOT operation.....and vacuum secondaries. Carter AVS or AFB are great as well as Holley's. There are graph's or charts online to determine carb size but they are just general guidelines and sometimes test results show the figures don't seem to work out..

Do lots of research before investing in a carb/manifold setup that fits your needs.
