Best bet is to try your luck on Ebay. You can get the best laptop for your money there though you run the risk of not getting what you bought.

I've seen E-Machines run games pretty well. They are not the best computer at all, probably the lowest end high end laptop... which is what your looking for I think. My Uncle plays Guild Wars on his which is very graphics oriented game.

The high end high end of Gaming Laptops are Alianware, next in line I think would be a Dell XPS model... Make sure it's an XPS model not a Lattitude or Inspiron.

I dont own a mac or know anyone that owns a mac but I doubt heavily they are any good at all at gaming, or possibly capable of gaming. WinXP Home, Pro or Media Edition should be the best.

I do not understand why people say very few games are available for Macs... Let us have a talk brother. You need to talk with me, for I know what I am talking about.

What you need is a Macbook Pro. It is NOT expensive... You won't find a regular laptop with windows that has 2.4GHz CPU. 2GB of RAM and a powerful GPU by NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 256MB SDRAM for $2,499. No, you will not find that.

Mac lacks nothing. If there are games that Mac OSX doesn't support, your Mac will still play them. How? All you need to do is install windows on your Mac. Your Mac is compatibile with every thing. Not only your Mac is compatible with everything, it does everything you need. Most of all, it allows you to have best of both world, Windows and Mac.

Honestly, why do people buy windows laptop where they can install windows on a durable Mac machine? Mac parts are durable and life worthy. A mac will lasts 5 more years than a regular cheap based windows system. Get a Mac and never look back.

If you're a gamer you should stick with Windows because Windows supports most games and Macs only support a very small amount as of right now. There are plenty of options but most of the cheaper laptops have integrated graphics which aren't great for gaming. I'd need to know what specific price range you were looking for and then I could recommend something for you.

"stable low cost gaming laptop" is an oxymoron there is not any such element. extremely in case you want to play video games like crysis at extra advantageous than 15fps the terrific gpu for an m1530 is an 8600m gt that isn't furnish you with a exciting time with crysis. the m1530 is even worse with an 8400m gs - that's a poor configuration for gaming seem for some thing with an 9600m GT a minimum of or i f you will get some thing with a 9800 sequence could be maximum effective and 'ok' for crysis. remember those grapics chipsets are no longer UPGRADEABLE on maximum laptops (as adversarial to a pc laptop that's extra cost-effective and additionally you will replace any ingredient) so as quickly as you purchase one youre caught with what you have. If ur on a funds a pc is a far extra powerful prospect, and could be completed two times as useful for a million/2 the cost.
