I mean it is horribly sad that Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero etc. passed away because they were great human beings, great wresters and great entertainers, but when they were alive ppl used to not really care for them- ppl liked the wrestlers, but they didn't pay attention to them, and now that they are gone ppl just say "I love Him", "He Was The Best", "He Was One Of My Fav." and so on...
And some of them are just hipocrites!! And that pisses me off!

R.I.P. The Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit

I feel the same way! People didn't care or worry about Benoit until he died, and then some people that will say they were fans of his turn against him since he made a mistake ... I can't stand people like that, I respect Benoit and that will never change.

just for the record....I have always and will always think of Benoit as one of the best. No one could do what he did and no one will ever be able to put on a show like him (or Eddie). When I heard last night that he and his family had passed, all I could do was cry. I saw him several times and remember telling my boyfriend ( a huge Benoit fan) that Shawn was going to kick his butt....lol. I was wrong! I will miss seeing him in the ring and watching his flying head butt.

I'm curious how you would call Chris Benoit a "great human being". Please take a look at the account given by the DA investigating Benoit's murder/suicide...he suffocated his wife on Friday after tying her hands and feet together, then asphyxiated his 7 year-old son in his bed on Saturday, and finally hung himself in his weight room on Sunday.

Then, you have Eddie Guerrero who killed himself on a drug overdose...

So yeah, what wonderful human beings...great role models for children to be watching on tv too...you won't hear me being a "hypocrit" in saying they were great people.

It's especially true for Eddie, if he had died a few years before he did, it wouldn't have been as bad for him

That is just ridiculous. He might have been 'the best wrestler' but he was also a murderer and he deserves no hero worship and he does not deserve to rip for killing his child!

I agree with you, when Eddie died, he was one of my favorites. And people started saying they loved him and he was their favorite..he pissed me off becasue then people would think I was just saying it like everyone else.
