It goes against the natural life cycle involving reproduction. Aren't all living things supposed to have some kind of natural drive/ goal to leave descendants?

And for the record, I didn't mean to come off as sounding predisposed towards heteros.
I tried to be unbiased through science, but I guess it didn't work.

Only if you accept heterosexuality as the same. Now did you see how silly that sounded, young man. Not everything leaves descendants, otherwise what do you classify the heterosexuals that can't have children as? Do they as well fall under your mutation? Be kind to people.

Homosexuals still have the narural drive and goal to leave descendants. So no its not a mutation. When it comes to children and descendeants we are no differant at all. Some of us marry straight just for that reason. Some of the smarter ones figure out how to have children with out lieing to the world. IE: Mary Cheney and Heather Poe and their son Samuel David.

Well if you look at say greek history men had marriages with women to reproduce and affairs with men on the side.
With current technology people can have homosexual relationships based on love and still be able to achieve their desire to reproduce.
The way homosexuality manifests is largly based in the ways societies are structured.
I had a similar argument with my girlfriend about this actually where she a scientist kept talking about a purely biological pov and a lack of desire to reproduce and me a sociologist pointing out that it's irrelevent in a society that allows relationships to be based on love outside of the need to reproduce.
I'd say the desire is still there in a homosexual union but the pursuit of the relationship isn't based on the drive to reproduce, but then again what hetrosexual unions are based soley on that these days?

No, it is quite natural. Hate is the mutation. Why do you let yourself hate others? It is such a waste of time.
I am sorry for being so harsh. We do have to be careful how we word our questions so they don't come out asking something we didn't intend. Questions about homosexuality are expecially sensitive because of the homophobic mentality of many people. I think science proves that there is great variety in nature so that we should expect homosexuality as just one of the varieties of nature. Treat is as such and we bring peace to a major issue in the so-called cultural wars.

It would have been a good argument, sex is only for reproduction, if it wasn't for the fact that Gays know Straight people are BSing us when they make such statements.
Straight people have sex to get their freak on just like everyone else.

Well, not every person that is born has the capibility to reproduce.
I know alot of gay couples who have that drive/goal to leave decendents. And many have children.
It is not a feeling that is exclusive to the Hetrosexual community.

GO LESBIANS!
Do you want to leave descendants? You have to ask if it's a "natural drive" for "all living things" to do it?.....It's obviously not. So is your stupidity a type of mutation?

Yes! a mutation of sin something that "God' very much rejects to. I mean, I know that the word evolution does exist but this is not the type of change that we as the people are suppose to be partaking in.
