Bon Jovi's new CD, Lost Highway, raises the question...does music have to fit in a particular genre? After 2 decades of being rockers, the Jersey boys seem to have gone country. Or at least somewhat Nashville.
I love their new sound! My son was just asking what type of music it was and I didn't really have an answer for him. Can't it just be good music?

Yep it's just good music - so it usually fits into the "Pop" category

There's good music in a lot of genres. And then there's some genres out that (such as hip hop and rap) which are trying to pass as music.

many many many artists cross genres to create music, its not a new thing
