It does to too many people here.
If someone ever kills a member of their family we need to make a point of praising what a good video store cashier or mall cop washout the killer was.
That'll make it better.

the problem with most of the wrestling fans is that we love the people that entertain us every week, and we have a respect for the business that is second only to the wrestlers. And if you can't understand why we are so sympathetic then i guess you would be the type of person to sell out your own family. All the facts haven't been released, and the only thing the cops are going on is theory and specualtion. So you tell me what we are supposed to do? Throw our family under the bus for what may have happened or wait by their side until the whole truth comes out, and from that point make our decision on the subject. What is wrong with wrestling fans? What is wrong with you for condemning a man you don't know, and believing specualtion as truth. What is wrong with the media for leaking this "information" as truth, when there are no toxicology reports to back anything up. Where is the professionalism. Oh and where is the condemnation of a man who directly contributed to the death of owen hart, one vince mcmahon. Oh yeah, we dont see him as a murderer, just as a smart businessman that is to be loved by all. I will stand by benoit's memory until i find out, without any form of doubt, that the speculations are true, but i will not stand by or ever respect the people that threw him under the bus, you mark wrestling fans, and especially vince mcmahon for turning his back on yet another of his fallen comrades

It's no use for anyone to say that he was a great wrestler. Vince McMahon (WWE/WWF), Paul Heyman (ECW) made the rules and make the "sports entertainer". All of the delusions of grandeur are just that..... Wrestling is fake and all titles or main event matches are only based upon your performance, listening to Vince or Paul and following your script all the way through the match without mistake.
All I can say is that his athleticism was great and that he was an excellent employee otherwise Vince would not give him so much "facetime" on TV, title shots or good scripts where he would be awarded a title.
Personally, I'd pass on him being a superb human being. Murdering your spouse and young child then committing suicide is just cowardly and heinous.....

you have to understand that we are not morning a murderer, but a wrestler. Chris Benoit was one of the best! The tox reports are not in and everyone already think he did "roids". If anyone of you had a clue, then you would have realized that WWE DOES TEST THEIR WRESTLERS FOR THAT! And just so ALL OF YOU KNOW, BENOIT CAME OUT CLEAN!!!!! NO ONE knows what went on behind closed doors.....all the fans know is that he was one hell of a wrestler and will be missed in the ring. We are all in shock on this one.....none of us would ever think or dream that he could do this. We are morning for who we saw as a hero and loving parent/ husband on tv.....how the hell would you feel if a hero of yours did the same????

We all respect him for being a wrestler NOT a murderer. I have all the respect in the world for Chris, even after what he did. We don't know what happened, and we may never.

Ok I respectred his Character that was on TV. I respected that he could do all those moves.
As for him In real life. I don't know him from anyone else. I don't know till it's proven that it was steriods or that he just flipped out. None of US know HIM! None of us know the full story. We should wait and see and then judge when ALL the evidence comes to light.
Out of repect for his family that is alive, I believe he has a son, still alive. I pray for them to find peace.

I HATE how people say Chris Benoit is a terrible man ... people make mistakes, why don't you understand that!? He is HUMAN, he made a wrong choice get over it ... !!! Chris Benoit is a great man, end of story...Don't your hear how he raises his kids and cares for his wife? So what he is acused of killing them, he still loved them, why ELSE would he kill himself!? Benoit is a great wrestler, which is also a reason they should not hate him..I respect Chris Benoit with all my heart ... R.I.P. Benoit, we love and miss you.

You should have seen the flack I took for calling him that last night! What a person does for a living can never overpower what he does in life - and that means that just because he was a wrestling doesn't stop him from being a murderer! He took the coward's way out, to boot!

Thank you for saying "some" and not "all".
Thank you for not stereotyping us,
I have been a wrestling fan for over 10 years and I have no respect for Chris Benoit the person.
I'm not one of those people going around saying that he's not guilty, there is not a doubt in my mind that Benoit is a killer.
