I would like to do multilingual search through one site instead of trying many sites.

Yes, you can do it through Wikipedia Gateway. The web site allows you mutilingual searches in 23 different languages.

Well...the only suggestion I have is::

1. Use the tabs (now in both firefox and explorer) to open each language and just copy/paste your search into each search box.

sorry, I don't think it's possible though. But maybe someone will prove me wrong =D

If you are trying to find the origin of various words you can try that on the history channel website as well.
