Wash them and add 1 cup white distilled vinegar to the wash. Vinegar kills mold and deodorizes, plus it is very inexpensive.

I always do what a previous poster mentioned...dump the clothes back in the wash and add roughly a cup or so of white vinegar to the load with your detergent. To prevent the smell in the future, try to take the clothes out of the wash and put on a clothes line or in the dryer before they've had time to dry and mildew. HTH!

Since chlorine bleach will bleach the color out of the shirt, I recommend you put about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of your Clorox2 in a bucket with some warm water, and allow the shirt to soak overnight. Check to see if the stains are gone. You might need to do it more than once.

You can wash your clothes in regular detergent just add about 1/2 c. baking soda to the wash water and wash as usual... That will take the mold smell out of the clothes....

Bleach. U can dilute it with water, half cup to one gallon of water then poor it into the wash tub Before you add ur clothes, than swish it around a bit in a full tub of wash water, add soap as usual. u may have to do this a couple of washings. Fabreez works good also. Just add it to regular wash load.

Oxy Clean does a great job and doesn't hurt the fabric. It also removes the mold spores that make any spot stains.
