I like the name Aaliyah. Actually if my huband and I have another baby and its a girl, that is the name that we have planned. Its a hebrew name, and I believe it means to rise up, go back to the Holy Land. Eris is pretty. We were thinking Renee, but we are still disscussing that, even having another baby. But I like that name. Just some suggestions, you could also use Nicole, Noel, Lynn. Just a couple. But I love that name!

Something, however, to keep in mind.... I have a friend who is mid-20s named Aaliyah. Often when she meets someone for the 1st time, they say "Oh, Aaliyah like the singer who died in the plane crash." It annoys her.

Im not much for how it sounds together, Aaliyah Danielle? but it also depends on how it sounds with the last name, use it if you want.

i looooove the name aaliyah my husband dont care for it soo much though but everyday im like dont you just love that name!! haha i have liked it since i was in high school and im 19 weeks pregnant right now and i have always looved that named :) it sounds good hope ur partner likes it too !

i think it is pretty but i would spell the middle name airis because as you have spealt it is prounounced err ees , not air iss. but it is up to you how u spell it only know that people will always be asking how to spell it, which is so annoying.
