My husband paid for a powerleveling service. The company (based in Florida and China) did not complete the service and ended up stealing most of his items. Can we dispute the charge on our Bank of America check card?

Unfortunately, you cannot :(

The service you paid for is an ILLEGAL service - clearly against the WoW Terms of Service.

When you do something that is in this "grey market" area - you always run the risk of getting ripped off. Just be happy that you got ANYTHING back in return...

Your only course of action is to report this company for their illegal activities - anonymously, of course - and walk away with your losses (but repaid in Karma).

Sorry, I don't think you can because it violates your WoW Agreement to begin with.

It's also an online service that benefits you virtually, so you really have no evidence to provide your check card company.
