i used 2 be in this position last year and now my parents trust me alot. what i did 2 make them trust me was 2 first go down the town or to the cinema etc with someone THEY can trust (say a cousin your age or one of your friends they know and like). the problem might not be that your parents dont trust you, they might not trust your friends!
sit down and talk to your parents about this, tell them how you feel and let them hear wat they wanna hear..."i promise you ill not get into trouble, besides were only goin (place) for lyk (time) hrs!" try 2 convince them.
what ever you do DONT lose your head with them if they say no! DONT take a tantrum!! that would just tell them that your still immature!
remember your parents just care about you being safe, there not trying to ruin your life. ......GOOD LUCK!

You are new to the game they call being a teenager. If you want to know if your dads at the movies with you, throw out a line that will be sure to get his attention, something like "hey personsname did you bring the drugs".

Then as soon as he pounces you can tell him of the ploy and work it against him (you may need to embaress him infront of everyone for this to work, something like omg dad why do you insist on following me around its creepy). Just dont draw attention to the fact you would be embarressed as hell.

Of course this is an extreme case, you could just negotiate a curfew and stuff with your parents.

Prove to them that you can be trusted. Have you ever done anything wrong before? To earn your parents trust you have to do as they say. Far be it from me to tell you how to run your life but you should make sure they know where you're going. You may not do anything stupid now but you never know. Some idiot loser may want to do that and drag you into it. Remember, I'm pulling for you. Trust your parents they're not out to get you. SusanF

I know exactly what you mean. THey think that you'll do something bad as soon as your out of their sight. The best thing I can suggest is to talk to them about it.
