It would be real helpful if we knew where you lived to tell you some shop locations.

I personally stay clear of getting the wax from some of the local hobby craft stores. Your not going to get a deal on it from them. The best bet is to find a local candle supply company in your area and pick it up directly from them. This way you will save on the shipping cost that can be a killer. I buy my waxes from Bittercreek Candle supply. But I don't live that far awy from them so it works out great for me on my waxes and jars.

Sure- just drop by a hobby place such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby. They always carry huge slabs of wax and even dye and scents.
