Either the H.F.O. dvd as mentioned, and/or,
try the "Eagles' Live" double cd released 1980.
Also, look into getting a glimpse of their,
"Farewell I Tour / Live from Melbourne"
double-dvd-disc, circa 2004
Granted, the '80 live version isn't extended,
it's always another plus per their as-usual
stellar showing everyone how it's done.
And not only that, most of the rest of the songs
are sweet to get different approaches now
and then.
Thanks to some radio-play, certain studio tracks
have been nearly ruined.
And that's coming from a true-blue fan.

RE:
Extended intro version of Eagles Hotel California song?
I once heard a version of the Eagles Hotel California song with an extended intro. Does anybody know which album/song and where I can find it?

If it sounded more acoustic than electric, kind of "flaminco" and there was audience noise, then i'm betting it's the version from their first reunion tour. It's on the Hell Freezes Over live album. It's one of my favorites. I hope this helped.

The album is Hotel California and the song is Hotel California. As far as I know, there is only one version and this is it.
