Some jobs worth,Earning less and a**e licking the boss. I think smokers should have places they can go, The government DID NOT Stop the advertising revenue they got. Nor do they refuse to take our taxes, Just told us any smoke relating illness should not get treatment from The NHS What can you say!!!! Soon they will say we are polluting the air with tobacco. You get more fumes crossing the road by a car than smoking....What can one do to stop the smoking ban...At least you can do it in your own home at the moment but for how long before the neighbours start seeing smoke seeping out our windows. They did manage to stop smoking on flights, But hey where did air rage come from????Oh so they say you cant drink too much. What has happened they stop all the fun....Oh and now all drinks come with a warning label.Need i say more......I hope you don't get caught good luck

You, if your boss turns a blind eye. In fact get in there first, be proactive, not reactive. Ask your boss where the smokers can go and if a bin has been provided for them. Local councils will enforce litter regulations if they find piles of cigarette ends outside premises and obviously your boss would not want the business to be fined up to £2000.00. I understand that some companies who have offered help to their staff who smoke are now going to crack down on them smoking at any other time than the same break time which their non-smoking colleagues have. This is only fair. I recently met a girl who i was at school with in the 60's. She was a beautiful young lady who was captain of the hockey team and also won most of the tennis cups whilst we were there. I was shocked to see her, size zero or less, thin straggly yellowed hair which smelled awful, brown stained teeth and fingers and a face which looked like a road map is was so wrinkled. She no longer does any sport, she gasps when lighting her 'ciggy' and although only 55 looks 70. Protect your own health and don't allow others to smoke near you - you only get one life.

What's happening with the Smoking Ban on Sunday is that Bosses at work places need to keep checks that people are smoking legally otherwise they face a huge fine from officials that they are not going to want to pay. It's sort of going to be like why bartenders don't allow underage drinkers to drink alcohol - Just in case.

whilst the smoking ban became into initially presented it did no longer have a immediately impression because of the fact the human beings who smoke went exterior. of direction because of the fact the climate became chillier human beings the two had to pass devoid of or stay at living house interior the convenience of their very own living house. As for the non human beings who smoke, nicely, they are satisfied that they could drink in a smoke unfastened ecosystem yet how long will it final? because of the fact the pubs close down because of loss of business enterprise, it may desire to have an consequence on the non human beings who smoke ultimately because of the fact there'll be no pubs or golf equipment to pass to. people who mentioned that they might now use the pubs because of the fact they are smoke unfastened can no longer replace the gross sales that Landlords have misplaced, and with the greater desirable taxation on alcohol they'll of direction purchase much less. that's a downward sort except the government re-introduce smoking into social factors returned. you may no longer have it the two procedures.

Special enforcement persons employed by each boroughs council will be making visits unoficially to all businesses. I have a restaurant and we've had all the gump through for months

In Ireland the nazi health police go around "raiding" workplaces including pubs, but there's usually a safe room or corner somewhere.

Where are you? My guess would be the same people whose complaints resulted in the smoking ban to begin with. Any co-workers or customers could report violations to whoever is in charge of enforcement.

My UK, friend guaranteed that someone will call the police or senior management. Don't worry you will get used to smoking outside just like we do here in the US.
