Well neither are saints I would have to say Jack is the less of two evils, Nikki would have steam rolled over anyone to get the position and her focus was to win as if it were a beauty contest....she barely paused when she thought her son died and she has not been supportive of Phyllis who was widowed, she should have been there for her and her granddaughter. No wonder Victor always lets her down. He needs to dump her and get someone new....I say Logan.

ME, ME, ME..........Jack rocks and he put Nikki ( with her nose up in the air smelling something bad) in her place. What a SNOB she is. I never liked her character or the way she's portrayed by Ms. Scott. I can't wait for old Victor to get home to read her the riot act as only he can do.
I thought the election finale show was great. Jack showed all his detractors that he's got the "right stuff", including old Catherine who was so smug about Nikki winning. And how could you not love the way the aide Karen blew them all out of the water afterwards telling them about how David has done this before. Old Nikki thought she was something special and found out otherwise. Yes, Yes, I am really happy about Jack winning there's gonna be a lot of stories coming out of this big WIN.

No not really- it would have been coool to see Nikki- the least likely to win of the two of them- be uh, 'Victor-ious' in this race: also perhaps encouraging / inspiring some woman watching out there to get engaged and interested in the political process. It may be far fetched to hope for that , but people have been inspired by nuttier things than a soap storyline... Also Nikki was said (in an Interview w/ actress MTS) to be representing the Democratic ticket (MTSs' and PB's reasoning from an acting point of view) , though they never said that on the show ( concern w/the environment etc.).
We don't see that many women in politics in real life ,and even less fictional chareacters portraying them in TV and movies!

I am glad Jack won.Although he still plays dirty at times,he really seems to be trying to become a better person.
As for David and Nikki,there is something very creepy about their romance.I hope Victor returns soon to nip this romance in the bud.

Yes, I glad he won instead of Nikki. I can't stand her or the Newman family, except for Nick, b/c they think they are above the rest of the Genoa City residents. She could sling mud at Jack during the campaign but he's not suppose to return the favor.

I am, but Jack has a trend of losing things he acquires (like his dad's company, etc) maybe they're planning to take the senate away too lol

hell to the yeah..... let Nicki do something else with her little cry baby ***... so busy looking her nose down at everyone, when she came off the pole.. At least Jack never lied about the fact that he was dirty... he might have lied on other things but we all knew from the beginning he was dirty.. Congratulations Jack!!!!

I was hoping that Nicky would win , but its ok that Jack got it .
There're is always a reason why someone else gets it , verses the one you wanted to win .
Victor isnt finished with him yet .

I think they had the story line go that way, so that He is kept really busy and Sharon & Nick have alot of alone time together when he comes back, and to bring up the fact that Whats his face, ruined Nikki's chances by kissing her.
