Just which one is better and why.

Limewire has a lot more users - so thus there are more people to download from (and more of a selection)
But at the same time - that also means more viruses, and a higher chance that whatever you are downloading will turn out to be something completely different...
How many times have you tried to download a song or a movie - and find out that instead of "Spiderman 3", you have downloaded "College Juggs VIII" instead?

limewire has more songs but a lot of viruses
ares has less songs and long download but less virus but it still has some viruses
i pick limewire but if u wanna be more safe than ares

I personally like limewire, i think its easier to use, people have said that it messes up there computer but i have never had any problems with it.

you shoud pick limewire because it is easy and fast.
