When I was in college I worked in high fashion and some of the models have told me their daily make up routine. The reason, so they said, is that if they are seen on the street, even walking the dog, they need to look alive since it is part of their work, not like they are wearing a mask. This is what they have told me about natural make up:
1. tinted moisturizer with SPF or Helioplex to prevent premature aging while coloring and smoothing blotches
2. skin tinted or salmon (balances yellowness) coloured concealer for under eye darkness and blemishes if needed
3. maybe a little bronzer or blush but only if needed
4. brown mascara, always go drugstore and throw it out every 3 mos because it grows bacteria
5. clear lip gloss or a pale rose colour similar to your lip colour
When it comes to natural looking skin, esp since you have said you have bumpy skin, try what I've learned from my dermatologist who is phenomenal, the best in NY:
1. make sure you are exfoliating lightly every day, you can use a home microdermabrasion kit twice a week to help
2. moisturize with an oil-free lotion like oil of olay or ponds, something light every morning and night
3. do not over apply products, including acne products because it can over-dry which causes your skin to produce more oil
4. Always throw make up out every six months, keeping it longer breeds germs and that can cause bumps, acne, etc.
By the way, my derm suggested bare minerals as someone has above. To make it look natural I mix it with a dab of facial lotion and it creates a smooth dewey glow. I can even add a little of the bare minerals bronzer in with lotion if need be. I think Loreal just introduced the drug store equal to this which can save a few pennies. Honestly after working with fashion people expensive make up is fun but totally unnecessary, in fact drug store can be better bc those companies have more money to spend on development and can make equal if not better products while saving money. Besides you throw everything out every six months, why waste?
Best of luck.

I recommend the brand Clinique. They have a foundation called Barely Makeup and it is very light. I have it and I love it. If you want a simple look, try colors that are neutral like browns and greens. Go with subtle colors, nothing bold. Use a brown or grayish eyeliner so it doesn't make your eyes to bold. Also, only line your upper lid. Go with light mascara, try a brown. Try a soft color lipstick, again nothing bold. Use a peachy kind of blush. Use a bit of bronzer to have that glow on your face. It sounds like you have similar skin to mine. If you want your complexion to clear I highly recommend getting the Clinique 3 Step. It's face soap, clarifying toner, and a moisturizer. I use Step 4 cuz I have an oily face. Clinique is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. The make up is oil free and does not clog pores. Covergirl and other drugstore brands are very cheap and lie about what they say. Hope this helps!

just use a light coat of foundation to even out your skin tone.
then apply some lose powder all over your face this will take away the shine. then apply some blush very carefully ( you can skip this one ) then somee mascara and a little brown eye shadow and your ready to go . if you like you can wear som lip gloss , sink and brown tones always make your makeup look natural. the best brands are cover girl and maybelline , you cant go wrong with any of these .

The answers above have great ideas. I'd just like to add a few more suggestions for a fresh look:
1) Consider tinted lip balms or lip colors that are "your lips but better." For example, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow is an easy to wear, neutral red. Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is a sheer berry color.
How to select the right lipstick: http://www.wikihow.com/Buy-Lipstick
2) As for eyeliner, wearing a dark liner tight against the upper lash line is the most natural look. Wearing liner against the top & bottom lash line is best for evening. All over eyeliner should be applied w/ care or else you risk making your eyes look smaller.
3) A sweep of a single color eye shadow or bronzer is the followed by 1-2 coats of mascara is the easiest & softest look for eyes.

To get a fresh look, use mineral foundation, it's a powder and it doesn't look like you have anything on. You should use the coppers and natural skin tones for your eye shadow and brown mascara. You don't really need eyeliner, but if you want to put it on on the bottom and top but really thin. You don't really need blush either, bu if you do use a natural tone, and to finish it up use a light lip gloss.

if you were to get any foundation i would recommend Sheer Cover, it's a little pricey but it's totally worth it.
Get black Eyeliner and draw a thin line on your upper eyelid then smudge it with your finger or a smudging sponge, make sure it is not to dark. Go over the smudged line with a regular thin line, make sure it does not get lost in the smudgeness. do the same thing to the bottom of your eye but only half way...don't go farther than the pupil.
as for mascara don't use to much..but put a little more on your outer eyelashes(up and Bottom) right next to the corners of your eyelids.
And u can't go wrong with some light pink blush :)

You seem to have a lot of ideas for makeup, so I won't give another one. But as far as the uneven skin, try not to overuse coverup, because it just makes you look like you have dry peely skin and have different shades of color all over your face. Instead get an exfoliating face cleanser (at any supermarket or drugstore) and use it every day, this should makes your skin much more even.

Well tell us what age you are. It will show you how much you should have.. If your a teen, i would just do a light mascara, umm a clan looking foundation, something to help those bumps, and lip gloss. If it's a first you don't need loads and loads of it

you should try bare minerals. instead of making your face worse, like some other foundations, it makes your skin better everytime you use it.
then, i would sugest you buy a really good mascara. i would get one from sephora, since their makeup is the best. dior mascara 'dior show' is really good. its about $23 at sephora. try to stay away from maybelline and covergirl mascara, they have the worst mascaras out there. [make sure to make your lashes really long]
then i would used revlon colorstay. they have many shades of it :] and it actually can make your lips fuller. you can get it for like 6 dollars at walmart, etc
