According the all the news reports I've seen and heard, Cedar Fair (which own CW after it's purchase from Paramount last year) closed all of the Drop Towers in their 5 parks until they inspect them and can assure guest safety. I know I saw a news report the other day that the Drop Zone Tower at the park in NC was found to have cables that were deterioriating from the inside out.
