I say new; They are recapped. They are also 8 ply.

if you trust recaps go ahead and buy them, I never had any good luck with them, they would always come apart on me travelling down the highway or have a bad vibration.

I think if they were actually Good Year AND not recapped they might be ok the 12.5 inch width make me thing 9 to 10 " rim width. For your farm trailer they would work just fine. Driving 70 miles an hour on the highway loaded truck needs real new good quality tires to haul kids wife and equiptment to the lake with boat in tow. 250 is a little to high a price almost brand new tire prices.

Not if they are recapped, You should be able to buy them new for that price. That price should also include mounting, balancing, old tire disposal and a warranty.

There is nothing quite as scary as loosing a tread on the highway, e very carefull with retreads

Tires have used metric sizes for a long time. Also I would not trust a tire that was not radial construction. Don't buy those. They could kill you.

yes, but, goodyear tires wear out faster than any others I had on my truck.
