I would go directly to the credit bureau's site and obtain it from them. I always felt a little weird about having a third party company obtain the report for me.

I have a subscription from experian.com It notifies me anytime there is a change on my credit and I can pull my credit report anytime without charge.

The reason I went with Experian is because, from talking to lenders, they all seem to agree that Experian is usually the middle score out of the three.

Internet encryption is safer the than US Mail. Always use www.annualcreditreport.com or go directly to the credit bureau's website.

Always check to make sure that you're on a secure site before you do that.....You can never be to careful. As long as you have a credit card, identity theft is a possibility.
