Because in the 27 years since 1980, 20 of those years Republicans occupied the White House, with Ronald Reagan largely considered the best President of the 20th Century. President Bill Clinton was one of the most corrupt Presidents ever, the only President to be impeached and disbarred by the US Supreme Court.
Republicans controlled the House from 1994-2006 and the Senate most of that time. The Democrats then were able to gain control by largely running as CONSERVATIVES to unseat moderate Republicans.
Seven of the nine Supreme Court justices are Republican appointees (even Justices Stevens and Souter, unfortunately).
Hardly a failed or CORRUPT party.

Well my friend, as bad as the republicans can be at times they have many benefits over the democrats. Since we are talking about corruption I will stink strictly to that issue. When a republican is found to be doing something unethical or illegal (even indicted but not convicted) they are usually told to take a hike. The democrats circle the wagons around their people and attack anyone that dares point out the corruption of a member. If a republican congressman commits vehicular manslaughter while out for a drunk drive his *** goes to Jail when a democrat senator does it he spend the next 30+ yrs in the senate. When a republican aid is found guilty of "lying" under oath he is sent to jail for 30 mths but when a democrat president is found guilty of "lying" under oath he serves no time. When a democrat congressman drunk drives through DC he gets to make a sweet speach and enter rehab if it were a republican whoa watch out. When a democrat aid STEALS national security documents he gets a slap on the wrist and the dems circle the wagons. When a democrat congressman is convicted of child molestation (Mel Reynolds) he is asked to work on John Kerry's presidential campaign but when a republican congressmen is accused of inappropriate emails he is forced to resign and is shunned. Fact doesnt jive with your fiction

I guess thats why the current Democrat Congress has only a 14% aapproval rating, and Dems are chomping at the bit for the "Fairness Doctrine" because they can't come anywhere close to what conservative radio has to say.
Just because you and a few other of your tin foil hat wearing Lib friends believe it doesn't make it so.

Don't let them get to you Jason ... they seemingly outnumber you here but I doubt that is the case ... I think there is an expanded budget for paid conservative posters from the Republican underground, hence the large number of poisonous postings.
BTW, spell checker does indeed work
