Why do MOST married men cheat? Even if it is just every once in a couple.few months? Like say a man is married..but he has this woman on the side that he calls every few months to come and hang out with him...but he doesnt want to sleep with her..he just wants to talk and pleasure her orally..but hedoesnt ask for anything in return...what the hell is that? and what does that mean?

The answer to your first question is because he wants to as long as he doesn't get caught. Most men don't like change especially in the case of a man who has been married for a long time. The thought of what he can lose keeps some men honest. Cheaters cheat because that who they are it's a character flaw. In today's society cheating has a deadly consequence like AIDS and the psychopathic response of the injured party if she gets wind of the affair. The wife eventually does become aware..If the man you mentioned as your example is doing all you mentioned he simply wants you to let him use you and when he's done don't make a fuss let him go on his merry way. After all he is married he'll say you knew that and so on. An old saying if he'll do that to his wife what makes you think he won't do the same or worse. A lack of respect for you and for his wife. Remember there is three sides to whatever is going on. The first two is based on individual perspectives (what each wants to be) and the raw truth that has no reason to lie.

Say what? I think the actual number of cheating married men is lower than you think, but there are way too many that do cheat. And I find that there are a lot who talk smack to their friends like they are "playa's" but they aren't. They want to be seen as cool guys, as in control, and/or big in the eyes of their friends. And sadly a lot of guys think that getting a piece of "strange" is ok/good. There are a lot like me who still feel it is very wrong, that it should not be encouraged as a friend, and will actually lose a friendship over it. Prime example for me was the new guy at work. I was starting to be friends with him till he told the story of how over the weekend he was trying to pick up some chicks on his boat while his wife was at home with the kids....I walked away from him and haven't spoke to him since. That was 2 weeks ago. If more guys felt like I do and took a stand against it (and i mean actually stood up against it) then I think you would see less of it. But as long as it remains "cool" with their buddies, they will keep on cheating. Even tho it destroys their lives. A lot of men are stupid that way. :(
Oh and cheating is cheating, even if it's just oral. Even if it's one-sided. That is an intimate act that a married man should only do with his wife. No exceptions.

Most married men do not cheat. They are just unhappy and don't know how to communicate that to their spouse. But it goes the same for married women.
Many feel marriage will just fall into place, but its a lot of hard work. You really have to work at being happy as a couple.
That is where cheating comes in. Whether it be emotional cheating or physical cheating. They look else where to find happiness because its a quick fix and not hard work. Its easy to find happiness else where for a short time, but, keeping yourself happy with another person for a long period of time is something totally different.

I'm not a man...but I will say not all married men cheat. You only hear about all the cheating....you never hear about the good husbands. They are there...they do exist.
As for the whole oral thing....I would say he eventually would want something in return from the woman. I don't know what it means exactly.....but I know it's cheating, and that's a NO NO.

most married men don't cheat - maybe in your world they do, but that doesn't mean most.
I don't know what that means. Why don't you ask your husband.

when you say orally do you mean talking or do you mean oral sex. It's ok for people to talk to each other. A man can have women friends, but he has one soul-mate (at a time)
but if he's kissing, oral sex and all that, well thats cheating.

That's one thing I never understood about mens either and right now I am going through same problem... I got married 8 months ago and was waiting for my hubby to come from India and so that we could stay our married life and all but it all went the wrong way...He has been here for just 3 weeks and that's it not staying with me not answering my calls and I have not seen him ....

It is not understood that , when you are talking about man's wife & when about some other woman. It is not clear that you are abusing this man or appreciating (at last) BECAUSE IF HE DOES NOT ASK TO SLEEP WITH HER , HOW IS HE CHEATING ? IF HE DOES NOT WANT ANY THING IN RETURN , WHERE HE IS BAD!

it always seems as if its the man that cheats, but if he cheats, that means a woman has cheated also. (don't want to get beat up by the guys). The persons that are cheating want more than what they've got at home (cake and eat it too) and the danger, excitement, etc is what drives them. Sure, they see the other "attractive" person, and their imagination runs wild....so, they aren't gonna be satisfied until the deed is done.

I would say to situation you described that the man is tried of all the crap the wife wants before allowing him to do something to pleasure her.
Men like to see themselves as lovers, but if you make us pay for it with flowers, dinners out, cards, and other romance first then we are just paying for it like Johns to hookers. You don't care about us. Its just about the stuff you get. When its just about sex, its only about the sex.
In other words you aren't appreciating him as a lover.
