Was the movie Freddy Vs. Jason worth watching? And is it true they had Freddy Vs Michael?

...you have to pretty much take it for what it's worth...a novel and campy, dark-comedied send-up, and although the film is quite good & fun to watch, in that respect, it bears little of the actual scariness of each horror progtagonist's previous entrys.

"Freddy vs. Jason" is virtual history, repeating itself; back in the golden days of the classic Universal horrors, it eventually became not enough to have Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman play in separate movies. With some imaginative & creative writing and performances.....Presto!!! we got the novel "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman"...and then "House of Frankenstein" & "House of Dracula", both of where all THREE monsters show up!!!

Finally, when the classic monsters were chest-deep in self-parody, Universal decided to go the parodious full nine, and pit their monsters against their then-reigning kings of comedy, in "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein", "...Meet the Mummy", "...Meet the Invisible Man"....take your pick!!!

So who knows??? Some day, in the same comical vein, we may see Freddy and/or Jason go up against Axel Foley, or maybe Lee & Carter, from the "Rush Hour" movies.....or if we're REAL lucky, perhaps Riggs & Martin, from the "Lethal Weapon" movies!!!

...with the declining creativity and imagination of Hollywood these days, I wouldn't be surprised in seeing these ludicrous concepts come to fruitrition.

...as far as "Freddy vs. Jason"....Yeah, it's a fun horror film, and I'd recommend it; go for it!!!

I've never seen or heard of Freddy Vs Michael, but "Freddy VS Jason" is worth watching depending on what you're looking to get out of it.

It's not scary in the slightest, but if you watch it as more of an bad action comedy it's pretty entertaining - more so if alcohol is involved. There are some funny jokes and the violence is cartoonishly amusing.

For what it was, it was very well done. I actually thought that it tied the two of them together far better than Alien vs Predator did....and I waited forever for that to come out. There is a rumor that they are trying to get a Freddy vs Jason vs Micheal Meyers movie made, but I haven't heard anything concrete, and don't know that it'll ever happen.

Freddy Vs. Jason was pretty good. Not a groundbreaking horror flick, but can't complain. But no, there was no Freddy Vs. Michael.
