And another curious thing:
Does the U.S. military's death count only include those soldiers who were killed IN Iraq?
What about the soldiers who were shipped out of Iraq and flown home or to hospitals where they ultimately died.
Are those American soldiers part of the 'official' death count? I doubt it. If the public knew the true cost of this insane 'war' (including ALL U.S. and Iraqi deaths) we might not be so blase' about it. -RKO- 06/26/07

There are reports of estimates. News do report about Iraqi deaths and refugees. But US deaths is what counts for most of us. Since we're not Iraqis. Most of time they'll show US military deaths. Iraqis are not in US military.

Iraqi deaths and US military deaths are shown separately. It's likely the US gov do filter some information or make it difficult to get some info like that. Like they banned photographing of US service men's caskets.

But there are many who pressure US gov to except more Iraqi refugees. We took only about 700 while thousands are trying to run for their lives to the US and millions displaced and millions went over to Jordan, Syria and other neighboring countries. All 700 to the US.

Since they are Iraqi citizens, it would be up to the Iraqi government to release that information to the news agencies. Use your little head.

The United States keeps track of it's casualties and the Iraqui government keeps track of theirs. You might try writing to whoever is in charge over there and asking what their count is.
