Would I be going out on a limb to say that most in the anti-abortionist camp think everyone deserves a chance to life until you do something stupid (like become a terrorist) in which case your death is justified?
But don't be confused! It has very little to do with "respecting" life--rather, it's all about CONTROLLING life--the mantra of America's current administration. It's all about power and greed and feeling "we know what's best for you", really...

That's a very complicated comparison. One that the GOP has embraced, however.
But, no, I think you can have conflicting feelings... based on the premise of the situation and circumstances.
Birth equates with innocence and love, while War equates with violence and hate.
If you are Pro-war to protect the innocent, while being Anti-abortion to protect the innocent... it is less contradictory.
The war in Iraq, however, has run completely amok and the idea of promoting "Democracy" and freedom, sadly, has been lost. The entire situation in Iraq has become a contradiction.
Personally, although I'm pro-life and anti-war... I don't think we should pull our troops out of Iraq because the concept of Iran dominating is the real terror we face. I adamantly believe too many innocent soldiers and civilians have died, and that we entered Iraq on a false premise.
I'm putting myself out there because I also believe that people are too afraid to speak their minds... and we should not live in irrational fear. When we honor the First Amendment, we honors our soldiers... ALL the soldiers, throughout history, who have fought and died in the name of Democracy and protection of Freedom represented by the US Constitution.
We broke it... the only honorable thing now, is to fix it.

No I dont!
That is an amazing question u have asked! I am anti abortion AND anti war, I would not take it upon myself to end a life even if it was a pregnancy that I could not keep - I would have the child adopted if I was that desperate, war and abortion are the result of human fault, as for war, whichever side you are on surely you can see that brutality and infancide are wrong!!! as much as I appreciate my government and America 4 going to war on sadaam, I thinkwe were powerful enuf to protect those innocent mothers and children who were killed b4 it started, but nothing was done andthey died its wrong andno government that knowingly kills children can abhor abortions without looking like fools! its all the same, shame on my country

It's Not a bit contradictory to be anti-abortion and pro-war at the same time! One is Murder of innocent people and the other is murder of terrorists and their supporters. Maybe you equate a war against terrorist murder with the killing of babies. Most other people can see a vast difference.

As somebody reported until eventually now, the Fetus has no determination, an 18 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy (or older) who has a stepped forward recommendations, who has critiques, logical reasoning, and emotions, will know he could die if he indicators UP for conflict. The fetus did no longer sign a waiver asking if it wanted to die or no longer, it may no longer pick. and don't shove words in my mouth asserting "properly if it may no longer pick, then why do you care if it dies, its no longer a human" i've got faith that whether that's becoming and coming up at one in each and every of those speedy %. as a fetus is, then that's unquestionably a living being. Being professional-death penalty and professional-existence are no longer contradictory, I stand for the previous asserting "a look ahead to a watch", if somebody merits to die, then enable them to, yet of direction no longer, libs want them to stay in detention center and decay the remainder of their terrible lives. Why no longer supply them a style of their very own drugs and be accomplished with it!? as much as killing harmless civilians is incorrect and should no longer take place, its a inevitable casualty of conflict. If all and sundry observed your anti-conflict approaches, united states of america could be run over by utilising a set of third worldwide worldwide places in an instantaneous. the worldwide would not tolerate pacifists, it by no potential has, and it won't for a protracted time. If we've been the only usa who grow to be professional-conflict, then i could be anti-conflict too, yet we are no longer. there are hundreds of human beings available who prefer to do harm to our usa, and our human beings. that incorporates you, so why no longer take care of your self? All you're able to do is help the adult males and females human beings who're available, struggling with for you, on an identical time as you take a seat decrease back, kill unborn infants who have not got any determination., and combat for illogical comparable intercourse marriages. whats up, Sir.

It never made any sense to me since the pro life people who are always talking about the sanctity of life and the rights of the unborn, are the loudest war mongers. They may talk the talk about supporting the troops but they watch the bodies pile up and still don't give a hoot about ending the war and bringing the troops safely home.

Yes it is. But people who are anti-abortion also believe that you should save the child and let the mother die if there has to be a choice between the two. Basically they want to make sure the children get into this world, but then what happens to them doesn't matter anymore.
We have young women who can't take care of themselves yet alone a child who needs food and healthcare for their infant that the pro-lifers insist deserves life. But we have a government that wants to cut funding to the system that helps take care of these children they care so much about.
And being pro-war, sending people off to die for... well we all know the reasons now!!!! Its hypocritical.
If life is so important to you, and your worrying about them making it out of the birth canal, why don't you think about taking care of the life thats here after that!!

Not at all. If you are pro-war and anti-abortion, you are just making sure that there are plenty of people to send into battle, correct?
