i want to be fast what do i need to do?

you need to build your legs. do leg presses and calf raises. next you need to get really good at the power clean. that excercise really builds your speed. and third you need to run. work on your start speed, because the start is everything. just make sure you take in alot of protein. well good luck, if you follow a regimine you will get faster. hope you do well

I know most people will say do exercise and build legs etc. Yes that is also important but there is one thing I doubt someone will talk about.

And that is image training. These all hot shot world famous athlete they do image training before any competition by using coach. But in your case as you will do exercises, such as running, when you start running try to run slow and enjoy scenery around you, yes I mean run at a speed where you can see things around you.

Never attempt to run faster from the beginning gradually increase. Do exercise for legs to help muscles. After doing all these stuff when you get time to sit in a peaceful place close your eyes calm your mind, no distraction and image as you are running, people are watching you and you won. Feel it. We call it feel the end. If you can do this you will get what you are up to. Trust in yourself and in my short advise do it and see.

Work on agility. Agility is everything for running. Some ways you can work on agility are:
Get on a side of a line and jump over that line for a minute straight. It might seem stupid at first but when you get it done the first time try putting a soccerball sized object on top of the line where you are jumping over it and that will help you jump higher to get over the line. This works your calf muscles and works them hard. If you only have a little while to get your running speed up do everything for six minutes at a time. Have fun and good luck.

Practice and you have to do it everyday, time your speed like how many minutes can you do three miles. Don't forget to stretch before you run.
