I respect his wrestling ability, but people here are giving Benoit a free pass on his actions because of his career as a wrestler. He murdered his wife and his son and that is inexcusable.

Yeah, Benoit the wrestler was one of the most respected people to ever step foot in a ring, and rightfully so. It is just a damn shame that his reputation as one of the best wrestlers ever will be forever tarnished by this heinous event.

I believe he will be remembered as the greatest technical wrestler in WWE History, and that June 25th will likely go down as the worst day in WWE history.

There is not a person here that didn't have the upmost respect for him on Sunday, but it is what it is... He commited one of the worst acts a human being could possibly commit. Therefore, he will go down as the best that might have been...

This will hopefully cause WWE to WAKE THE **** UP!! STEROIDS ARE BAD NEWS!

I will not pass judgement on Chris Benoit, the person, as it is not my right. It may be inexcusable, but we will never know what went on his head, as only he and God knows. But on the same token, I can never forget Chris Benoit, the wrestler that showed all of us that working hard, dedicating yourself to something or someone you love, and never giving up can get you anywhere in life. Regardless of his actions these past few days, it's impossible to take away the things he has done for many of us over his entire life.
