im looking for the heaviest metal i can find, ive been looking for about 2 days and havent found anything heavy enough

Heavy, what do you mean by heavy? Most people can NOT handle Brutal Death Metal or real Black Metal. If you are looking for just some heavy music, then stay in the circle of Power Metal., which includes some bands like Kamelot, Gamma Ray, Dark Moor.......and for the brutal music...mmm....are you sure your up to the task.....Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Marduk, Darkthrone....this is a very small list of extreme music....if you can handle this then we will tell you more.......

Try WASP. They're a very heavy metal band that was attacked by Tipper Gore in the 1980's.

Don't know if this qualifies, but check out the song "China White" by Scorpions. Listen to it LOUD ! Also try anything from the group Fastway. And if you want to go waaayyyy back to early metal, try the long version of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly.

It depends on what parameters you consider "heavy" to be. Not all metal fans agree. If it's speed and agression, I suppose you could look into bands that are part of the black metal or death metal sub-genres.
