Unless he is taking you to church for the date then YES your father is correct 90% of young single men would think like that. Trust me I work around 1000's of them and other than the good Christian ones they all have the same thing on there mind and they are thinking about how they can get it one way or another
A women can never be to careful it is best to date only in a group and stay in the group...,men are good at cutting a women away from a group then raping her or slipping something into her drink or food. At least if you stay with a group you will have other women around.
Sounds like you have a loving wise dad that cares about your wellbeing.

He's pretty much telling you the truth. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule, but the reality is, most guys (especially teenagers) will say ANYTHING to get sex. This includes telling you that's not what they're interested in, that they love you and want to marry you, etc. It's not to say you can't ever trust anyone, but keep in mind there is no rush, and MOST guys really do just want sex.

At a young age yes the majority will be especially the so called bad boys. There are those out there that are looking for a real relationship but that is usually when they are older. In either case be protected in the event that passion overwhelms common sense.

It is somewhat true....yes we want sex with any girl we are willing to be seen in public with on a "date", but we are also interested in having a fun time. Most guys are not rapist and will not physically force you to have sex, but there is a wide variety of different techniques for sweet talking a girl to have sex.

At the ages above 15 thats pretty much true. They are pumped with hormones and anxious to get their first piece. Although there are some nice boys out there, most are on the verge of trouble.

Yes my husband says that all guys do want sex. The detail is that it doesn't mean that all guys intend to have it with you that night/date, though my understanding is most would be ok with it. MY suggestion: wait until your married to have sex and don't even bother to date guys who aren't ok with your decision to wait.

It depends on the guy. A lof of them just want sex, but a good amount of them want relationship (and, yeah, probably sex too).
You've just gotta learn to tell whos looking for what.
