It depends entirely on where you live/jurisdiction/what court. Some courts are busier than others. If it's a traffic violation, you'll usually go to court sooner. If it's a murder, it will months or longer. My divorce took 2 years for a court date.

It depends on the jurisdiction you are in. In some places it is as fast as a week. In most it is 6 to 8 weeks. In some it takes as long as 4 months, and I've even heard of it taking longer. It really depends on what is already placed on the docket. All courts are backlogged to at least some extent in the USA.

Depends on 2 things,first an available court slot and how good your solicitor is at arguing your case for the available slot.
The nature of the case does not matter.
