We live in a great three bedroom, two and a half bath townhouse. It's as big as the house we moved from, except for the basement, but it wasn't finished, anyway.

The best things are: killer central air, built-in satellite tv, dishwasher, patio, and the washer and dryer are upstairs, so you don't have to carry the laundry up and down. And the master bedroom. It has as two-room bathroom, a huge walk-in closet, and a patio door to the balcony. There's a beautiful pine tree growing right outside.

The living/dining room is pretty lame right now, because we have way more VHS, DVDs, CDs, games and books than we have bookshelves, so there are stacks and boxes all against the walls. Course, the walls are white, since we rent, and lacking the proper furniture, I haven't bothered to hang anything yet. However, I do have a great new couch and love seat. Hunter green with four recliners and a fold-out table.

I love my kitchen stuff. I've managed to collect matching everything: dishes, glasses, mugs, rugs, nick-knacks, and wall decorations, all cobalt blue with a gold sun and moon motif. Still lookin' for some new towels. I also have some of my daughter's crafts on the wall, and an awesome photo a friend took. It's a blue and gold sunset over the wetlands. I had it framed in a cobalt blue frame. It hangs over the sink.

The downstairs bathroom is unique. It's where we put my husband's Marvin the Martain collection. Towels and rugs are red. Everything else is Marvin: two posters, nightlight, a whole shelf of nick-knacks and toys, even a Marvin tin for Q-tips and Marvin dispensers for soap and lotion. I think it's cute. We get a lot of compliments on it.

I love my home! It is still a work in progress but hopefully it will get done before we decide to move out.
The outside has brick accents and great siding. We have brazillian cherry hardwoods throughout the downstairs. When you walk into the foyer, the dining room is to your right. It is a pretty shade of red with white waynescoating on the bottom. There is a cherry table with very cool red leather chairs. But we haven't really done naything with the dining room yet.
The kitchen is a beige color. We have cherry colored cabinets. Our appliances are stainless steel. We have a little eating area off the kitchen with lots of windows and a door to the patio.
The living room has a cream colored shaggy rug, red couch, love seat and oversized chair & ottoman. It's beige with a red accent wall. We have a fireplace.
My husbands office is also downstars and has very industrial looking office furniture.
Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms and the laundry room. We have a nice sized bonus room which has NOTHING in it - we haven't really decided what to do with it. Our room is an eggplant color and we have very large bedroom furniture and a pretty silky eggplant colored comforter with bamboo embroidery. We have a HUGE bathroom - which I LOVE! The baby's room is right across from ours - his room is white above the chair rail and a light but bright green color below the chair rail. He has white furniture with a jungle theme. Our guest room is chocolate brown with a very pretty brown/beight/orange color comforter.

I live in a mobile home. It has been completely redone inside (drywall, carpet, wood floors etc.) The carpet is a light tan color and we haven't picked a color for the walls yet (so they are all white). We have light colored wood (for furniture and stuff) As far as colors go we like neutral tones with a little bit of burgundy and blue (light and dark blue). Me and my hubby's room is painted dark blue with a kind of Hawaiian/water thing going on. My kids share a room which is half Little Mermaid for my 3 year old daughter and half ocean animals for my 1 year old son (they look good together). Their room is painted a kind of periwinkle blue color. My kitchen is decorated with a grapes and vines look and my bathroom is done in a sun, moons, and stars look. Hope this was descriptive enough for you.

I live in the home my grandfather built. It's l0l years old, victorian style with the original door knobs, wood work, light switches and wood floor. It is white on the outside. The living room, den area's are all wall papered with a light green, gold old wall paper. The bathrooms and kitchen are totally remoled and we are still thinking on the kitchen colors. I have a dark maroon in my bathroom which makes it romantic when relaxing in my tub with candles. It's a beautiful place to hang my hat.

Living room: country/French chic-pale green couch, natural wood end tables (I'm going to go modern soon though, I'm tired of the subtlety)
Bathroom: nothing big, just dark brown towels, etc.
Kitchen: Chef/coffee motif- gray-blues, burnt oranges and tan
Bedroom: Mission-cherry wood w/ maroon and hunter green
I'm all over the place with style because I like a bit of everything.

I crash at the Lonely Mountain. A little drafty, but the accoustics are great, and plenty of open space for kickass parties.

Broken windows, mildewed carpeting, rotting wood floors, bad plumbing, peeling wallpaper with "mystery stains," and far too many partially buried corpses in the basement.
