I use it for cleaning my bathroom around the toilet and shower knobs and sink and also for my car tires and dashboard and car battery. Sometimes I use them for arts and crafts too. Even for scrubbing hard to reach places in my stove and oven. :-)

every 3 months i get a new one and have a demotion. If a toothbrush is 3-6 months old, it becomes emergency reserve (in case my new one falls in the toilet or something to make it unusable), from 6-9 months, it's a detail brush. From 9 months to a year, floors. It goes on from there.

I save a few for cleaning things, but we have 3 kids and 2 adults at my house so I tend to throw them out, too. I use them to detail the cars, cleaning the kids tub toys, on my jewerly, clean around the faucets, etc.

Well, you only need so many utility brushes. I throw them out. There are not many other choices.
