Pre-Natal vitamins! They make your hair & nails grow very fast. And they are fine to take even if you aren't pregnant!

If you have nails that are constantly getting broken, make sure that you wear gloves when your hands are in contact with water, as wet nails are more fragile.

If you wish, you can polish the nail surface gently with a nail file in order to get an even surface. However, only polish every other month otherwise you risk getting very thin and frail nails.

Cuticles sometimes get irritated, which can be very painful. Carefully cut away the torn piece of cuticle with clean nail scissors.

Place tubes of hand cream in handy places such as next to the kitchen sink, on the bedside table or close to your favourite armchair. This will help you to remember to apply the cream more often in order to have soft hands.

By the way, brittle nails can result from too little calcium in your diet. Calcium is found in milk (3%) and other dairy products such as hard cheese.

How To Get Perfect Nails

Remove old nail polish with Nail Polish Remover.

Put your hand into a lukewarm soapwater to soften up the skin.

Apply Cuticle Remover Gel, leave it on for a few minutes and then gently push back cuticles.

Use a nail file to shape nails nicely with strokes from side to centre.

Use the Nail Polish Remover once again on the nails to remove the last traces of gel and soap and make the surface well prepared for the nail polish.

Coat nails with 2-in-1 Nail Hardener to make nail polish last longer.

Apply nail polish in three straight strokes, one down the centre and one on either side. Allow the first coat to dry before applying a second.

Finish off with a coat of 2-in-1 Nail Hardener to protect the nail and prevent colour from chipping

put your fingers in warm almond oil for 5 mins and then rub well in to the base of your nails. Nothing you can do to make them grow faster but nourishing them with oil or nail creams really does help. False nails are ok for a special occasion but with long term wear the adhesives take off the surface and weaken the nail.

VITAMIN D - Vitamin D is what causes bones, hair, and nails to grow. Vitamin D can be found in milk, so drink a lot of milk. If you drink a lot of milk, your nails will be stronger as well. I recommend you drink at least one class of milk a day to stay healthy.

BURNING NAILS - I Heard if you put a flame to your nails it will cause them to become stronger. So Try using a lighter and lightly rest the flame on each nail for a couple of seconds.

I've heard that garlic helps you nails to grow faster and stronger, actually I remember an article that said to add pieces of garlic to the transparent nail polisher to help your finger nails.

Prenatal vitamins can help however, if you are a teenager, I would move with caution taking these. There can be some setbacks with too much iron or B12. There are some gelatin packs you can buy from the pharmacy which promote nail growth. Please be careful when you ingest these vitamins. They are 'supplements' to your regular diet and should not be replaced. You must eat veggies, fruits and protein and drink plenty of water.

Eat a good balanced diet and keep them polished or clear coated to protect them. A polished nail is a stronger nail and keep them away from the mouth.
