The same way some black ppl are afraid to be racist. I guess I would call it "civility". You can't just act out towards people in public. We're not cavemen. Maybe I just don't understand your question. I don't think I know anyone like that. Kev, where are you from that you see that going on? I live in Minnesota. You're down south, right?

I'm not afraid to be racist. I'm just not racist, because only stupid cowards are.
And saying "get your klan suit out of the closet and wear it proudly and stop being a coward!" is a complete contradiction in terms...

Good question, the real answer, from my point of view, is that THEY feel that most white people agree with them. But society has deemed it a taboo, to even talk about race relation. So in order to increase membership to their organization they devised a method in which the judge on the bench could be involved, the police officer, firefighter, store clerk, or any other position that comes in contact with people. Now don't get me wrong I don't agree with them at all. If you have seen some of the questions I have posed, and answers that I feel are "Food for Thought" you would know this. It is for membership purpose so that so called esteemed people of our community can participate.
Its funny though I can actually respect those who do the talk show circuit, and show there faces no matter how obscene their opinion maybe. It is a funny respect, one that only goes to show that person the courtesy of conversation. I don't like the fact that most people are frighten to have a conversation about race relations. It is made to be a taboo topic that people rather not deal with and that is a large part of the problem with this issue. America has allowed this wound to get infected and not tackle this curable "disease" head on!!! America had to warm up to the idea of racial equality and did not deal with the mind-state.....and quite frankly that is the issue.......

Some humans do not like watching just like the dangerous man. But I have not relatively visible one individual preserve whatever again. If anybody has anything to mention approximately whatever on right here, they would possibly not quit to suppose approximately the humans they are offending, or demanding. I understand while I pass right into a rant I cannot be stopped, and I would offend any individual with what I say, however it is what I suppose is proper.

People have become so PC now-a-days. If you speak your mind outside of your home or look at someone in the eye for too long you get hit with a lawsuit. Don't get me wrong I'm not condoning racism. I think the problem is that We as a country have made it WAY to easy to throw a lawyer at someone the minute our feeling get hurt.

Because it's not pc to be racist,. Also, many "internet racists" and "behind-closed-doors" racists are afraid of black people and the repercussions of making racist statements in public. The internet is an easy (and anonymous) way to spew one's blind hatred without worrying about the consequences of one's actions.

that is ONE person...proly a ten year old...why does everyone take the thrill seekers so seriously??!!!
and why are you asking why are they afraid to be racist? racism is not a good thing. It's not like some people don't have the nerve. Some people are more mature and intelligent than that.

Exactly.
Did the blacks hide from others during the Civil right's movements, when they were getting hosed, beaten and mauled by police dogs? No. They stood up and fought-ordinary women and men fought showing their faces for what they knew was right-equal rights.
The KKK is ridiculous. They are a pathetic excuse for an organization. They believed they were richeous and holy and all that-yet they hid their faces with pillowcases. Losers and cowards!

They know most blacks will laugh (inculding me) just think your going to the mall and out of the corner comes a guy in a white sheet with three holes in it two for the eyes and one for the mouth but this could be good for all alot of kids never got to see casper in person so it would be a win-win kind of deal.

This case wouldn't be about fear, it would be about hypocrisy.
It's always the people who insist "Well, I'm not racist but... (insert racist statement)" that are the most racist.
